Grief and Loss Coaching
Grief and loss touch every part of life. The way you feel about yourself, your relationships, your sense of who you are and where you are going. Coaching offers a calm, supportive space to sit with all of that, to make sense of what you are carrying, and to gently begin building new pathways forward. There is no clinical framework here, no diagnosis and no prescribed plan. Just honest, human conversation at a pace that feels right for you.
I came to coaching through my own experience of grief, and I understand how disorienting loss can be. Whether you're in the early weeks of bereavement or further along and still searching for solid ground, coaching offers a space that is entirely yours. A space to be heard, to make sense of things, and to begin to grow again.
Is coaching the same as counselling?
Counselling and therapy tend to focus on processing and understanding past experiences and often carry a health or medical element, working within a clinical framework. Coaching is different. It focuses on where you are now and where you want to go, looking at the parts of your life that have been affected by your experience and working with you to rebuild confidence, direction and a sense of what comes next. The two approaches can work very well alongside each other.

What to expect
Sessions last around an hour and take place at Nu U Hair and Beauty in Sleaford, a calm and welcoming space away from the busyness of everyday life. We will work entirely at your pace and nothing is ever pushed or prescribed. I will listen, ask questions and offer tools and frameworks where they feel useful, but the direction always comes from you. If you would prefer to begin virtually, that is something we can discuss. A six-session package is available for those who would like a more structured journey, but a single session is equally welcome. There is no commitment and no pressure.
Pricing note:
£50 per session £250 for a package of six sessions
Referral Pathways
Sometimes the support someone needs goes beyond what coaching can offer, and that's completely okay. If at any point I feel that more immediate or specialist support would be helpful, I will always provide details of appropriate organisations and services. You will never be left without options.
